Titan ‘EDGE’ products are renowned for their unique and polished edge-to-edge glass exterior, which not only is aesthetically beautiful but also is designed to work without perimeter sealants or protruding frames. Water simply glides off the surface, without penetrating through fixing points.
Made of shatterproof laminated glass, the Titan ‘EDGE’ flat glass rooflight stands only 63mm above the roof upstand, blending seamlessly into any property.
High Performance Exterior Coating
Titan ‘EDGE’ flat glass rooflights are finished with Pilkington Activ™ dual-action, self-cleaning coating. This coating is applied to the external pane of glass and has revolutionary photo-catalytic and hydrophilic properties, which enable the surface to efficiently react to natural light and break down and loosen organic dirt.
In wet weather, instead of forming droplets, the water spreads evenly over the surface of the glass, helping wash away any dirt and reduce streaking, making it extremely low maintenance and easy to clean. In addition, it has a sun-bleaching, noise-blocking effect, eliminating 98% of unwanted UV rays and significantly reducing the levels of exterior noise.
