Where was your bi-fold door system designed?

Answer:

The Origin Door System has been designed, engineered and manufactured entirely in the UK at Origin's state of the art manufactoring facility in High Wycombe. The profile is a bespoke extrusion which is also made here in the UK.

What type of locking do you have on the bi-fold door system?

Answer:

Origin bifolds exceed Secured By Design criteria with the Lever handles having a market leading 8 point locking system and the Slave handle shootbolts secure into the bottom and top tracks.

Question:

What threshold options do you have?

Answer:

There are 2 threshold options,  standard, which has a rebate and is severe weather rated, and low which has no rebate but can be used internally or externally if sheltered. However we will discuss the options with you to ensure the smallest upstand as possible.

What is the minimum & maximum width per bi-fold door?

Answer:

Minimum

400mm if there is an odd number of doors folding in one or both directions, 700mm is there is an even number of doors all folding one way.

Maximum

1200mm per door leaf.

Question:

What is the maximum height of the bi-fold doors?

Answer:

2500mm is the maximum standard height (including the frame).  However  we can go up to 2700mm high although this may have an effect on the door confurations available.

What guarantee do your bi-fold doors come with?

Answer:

Easifold doors come with a 20 year manufacturers guarantee. We believe this is currently the best in the industry.

What colours do you offer?

Answer:

We offer a selected range of stock bespoke colours plus 4 woodgrain effects. Additionally you can choose from any RAL colour or combination of RAL colours.

Is the running gear visible?

Answer:

No, the running gear is concealed with the bottom track.

Do you do colour coded hardware?

Answer:

Yes, we can colour code all ancillaries.

Are the bi-fold doors top or bottom hung?

Answer:

Origin Doors are bottom hung with the top track merely operating as a guide.
